Río de la Plata III: Buhurt Returns to Buenos Aires

28–29 March 2026, the CEDEM 2 stadium in Caseros (Buenos Aires) will host the third edition of the Río de la Plata tournament, organized by the Latin American Medieval Combat Alliance (ALACoM). This premier sports venue, supported by the Tres de Febrero municipality, has already proven itself as a hub for top regional HMB events.
Organizers hail Río de la Plata III as a cornerstone of South America’s HMB calendar and are now accepting preliminary entries from teams and captains. Competitors will clash in buhurt, duels, and mass battles, aiming to elevate the competition’s intensity and maintain the high organizational standards set by the first two editions.
ALACoM is also seeking sponsors and partners to fuel the sport’s growth and join this next chapter in the tournament’s history. For regional clubs, it’s a prime opportunity to vie for medals and shine on the broader Latin American stage, spanning from Argentina to Mexico.
