Magna Carta: Mornas. The Siege of the Rock

The fortress above the canyon awaits.
Magna Carta returns to the south of France for the final competitive summer event of the season.
On June 20-21, the walls of Forteresse de Mornas will host Magna Carta: Mornas. The Siege of the Rock, an event where the battlefield itself becomes part of the fight.
Rising high above the Rhône valley, Mornas has watched over the surrounding lands for centuries. This time, its stone walls and rugged terrain will become the setting for a different kind of siege.
Inside the fortress, fighters will enter experimental 3 vs 3 battles. Tight spaces, constant pressure, close-range clashes, and fights where every member of the team matters equally.
Below the fortress, the Grand Mêlée will unfold across uneven canyon ground. No flat lists, no predictable footing, only dust, stone, slopes, and terrain that shapes the battle as much as the fighters themselves.
On Sunday, the fortress belongs to The Last Condottiere, Magna Carta’s professional fighting format that has already become one of the most respected forms of individual combat within the community. Full-contact armored fighting, striking, grappling, and relentless pressure will decide who remains standing.
Magna Carta: Mornas is not only another stop on the calendar.
It is an experiment in terrain, atmosphere, and battle itself, a tournament where the environment becomes part of the challenge.
