Magna Carta: Coucy. The Legend of Enguerrand

The northern stronghold rises.

Magna Carta comes to one of the northernmost points of its calendar.

On June 6, the walls of Château de Coucy will host Magna Carta: Coucy. The Legend of Enguerrand, bringing the spirit of medieval battles closer to teams from northern France and neighboring countries.

For many fighters, events in Italy or southern France have always meant long journeys. Coucy changes that.
This time, the field is closer.

Set within one of the most powerful fortresses of medieval Europe, the event takes its name from Enguerrand de Coucy, a figure whose legacy still echoes through the stone of the castle. Here, history is not a backdrop. It is part of the fight.

At the heart of the event stands the Battle of Lances — the fast-paced 7 vs 7 format that defines modern medieval battles. Precision, coordination, and endurance will decide which teams prevail.

Alongside it, fighters will enter the Grand Mêlée, where all participants divide into opposing sides and meet in a full-contact clash that tests not only strength, but unity and discipline.

Magna Carta: Coucy is more than a new location.
It is a step toward a wider battlefield, where more teams can take part, compete, and grow.
