Magna Carta: Monaco. Prime

The Chapiteau opens its doors to steel once more.

Magna Carta returns to Monaco for the second year in a row, back under the great canvas roof of the Chapiteau de l’Espace Fontvieille, the arena where the 2026 season began.

On February 13, 2027, Magna Carta: Monaco. Prime will bring together the strongest teams in the world of medieval battles for a tournament with a single format and a single goal: to become the first 7 vs 7 champions of 2027.

Last winter, Magna Carta: Monaco. Malizia opened the season in this same arena. Ten teams from France, Italy and Spain stepped into the lists and delivered some of the fiercest battles of the year. Fighters gave everything on the field, and spectators who came to see the famous Chapiteau turned into a battlefield left deeply impressed. Returning to Monaco was a natural decision.

This time, the stakes are even higher.

Magna Carta: Monaco. Prime is dedicated entirely to the Battle of Lances (7 vs 7). The field will be formed by the top teams of the Magna Carta ELO rating, the ranking that has followed every victory and every defeat throughout the season. For months, teams fought across France and Italy, earning points in hard-won encounters and climbing the table event by event. Monaco will close that chapter and put the 2026 rankings to the ultimate test.

Will the favourites prove they deserve their place at the top? Or will underdogs rise and overturn the order?

The answer may also come from elsewhere. Alongside the rating leaders, wildcard teams invited especially for this event will step into the lists, ready to challenge the established names.

The name of the event is no coincidence. In 2019 and 2020, this same arena hosted Buhurt Prime, tournaments still remembered by fighters and spectators as a benchmark for how armored battles can be organized and presented. Magna Carta: Monaco. Prime carries that legacy forward, returning Monaco to its place among the most prestigious venues for medieval battles in Europe.

Magna Carta: Monaco. Prime is not simply another stop on the calendar.

It is the final word of the season, the moment when ratings meet reality and only the strongest remain standing.

Ticket information will be announced soon through Magna Carta’s official channels.
